If you own a retail store of any kind, you know that you live and die in business based on your ability to drive people to your store. If people don’t have a compelling reason to go to your store, they simply won’t. I did a Google search the other day on ‘driving traffic to your store’ and noted that there were 15,500,000 results. There certainly a lot of great information out there on apparently how to drive customers to your store. Still, there seems to be no end to the constant revolving door of business openings and closings. Although there are a lot of reasons why a business can fail, one of the more common reasons is the inability to drive enough customer traffic through the doors to stay in business.
To give us some insights on the kinds of options that a business has to drive genuine traffic to their place of business is retail marketing expert Katrina Foster. Katrina Foster, owner of Kconceptual Kreations, now KKPR Marketing & Public Relation is a marketing and public relations executive based in Milford, PA.
In 2006, she decided to launch her own marketing and public relations agency, Kconceptual Kreations and over the course of the last four years, she has grown from a one-woman, home-based business to having part-time administrative staff, sales executives, designers, and additional marketing and public relations executives. Katrina was also named “Top 20 Under 40 Business and Community Leaders” by Sussex County in 2009, as well as nominated for 2010 SBA Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
